20+ years of real-world colour consulting, leading to expertise

WYSIWYG

WYSIWYG is an initiative by Antonis Granis, co-founder and former partner of the Colour Consulting Group. Its mission is to broaden knowledge of colour science and popularise colour management across industries such as Graphic Arts, Packaging, Decor, Textile, Fashion and Photography — any field where colour control is required.

Colour know-how

WYSIWYG aspires to become the library of colour knowledge in Greece — a crossroad of professionals and scientists involved in colour-related research, technology and communication with foreign institutions.

Experience

Colour management is Antonis's core expertise. He has consulted companies in Greece and abroad for more than 20 years — photolabs, signage printers, digitisation providers, fine art studios, offset and textile printers.

Biography note

Antonis Granis' first degree was in International and European Economic and Political Studies. He quite early discovered economics wasn't for him — what he always liked was working with imaging devices. He earned his Master's in Digital Colour Imaging from the London College of Communication (then LCP) in 2003, and went on to found the Colour Consulting Group with his two brothers.

CCG quickly earned a reputation as experts in the photography and fine art market, becoming a leading name among Greek printing companies. Antonis offered colour consultation even to competitors:

"It is not healthy to fear competition and lead yourself into a know-how secretism of isolation. We will share our knowledge and teach our experience — this is the only way to keep us restless from becoming better and wiser at what we do."

As one of the few colour consultants in Greece, Antonis has worked across photography, fine art, offset, flexo, UV, solvent, ceramics and textile printing — consulting companies in Greece and abroad, including Turkey, Lebanon and Monaco.

Contact us

We are in for big challenges, so make sure you ask for the impossible.

Contact us

Colour should not be left to chance. It should be measured, understood and controlled.

From a single calibrated workstation to an entire production workflow, WYSIWYG helps you connect devices, materials, measurements and people so that colour behaves predictably.

Colour Management Consulting

We analyse the complete colour workflow — capture, display, files, proofing, measurement, printing and viewing conditions — and turn technical colour problems into practical, repeatable solutions.

Image and Prepress Editing

We examine images and production files, identify colour and technical risks, apply or recommend corrections, and help choose the right RGB, CMYK or expanded-gamut workflow for the intended output.

Print Management

A practical colour-management service for businesses that need reliable results without carrying every colour-related responsibility in-house.

Training and Education

WYSIWYG turns colour science into practical knowledge: photography, scanning, ICC workflows, printing, proofing, light and colour measurement, PDF/prepress and video colour — delivered on site, in seminars or remotely.

Proofing & Production Matching

We help establish proofing conditions, profile proofing devices and connect contract proofs with real production output — including challenging substrates and packaging applications.

Light & Viewing Conditions

Colour can only be judged reliably under controlled conditions. We advise on ISO 3664 and ISO 3668 viewing environments, illuminance, light sources, colour rendering, metamerism and room setup.

Measurement, Process Control & Digitisation

We use measurement to replace guesswork: ICC profiling, spectrophotometric analysis, colour differences, TVI and process control, as well as colour-managed workflows for photography, museum digitisation and fine-art reproduction.

Colour Management Consulting

When a client seeks our help, we first make sure they understand what we can provide. We build a foundation of honest communication by making a first application of colour management to demonstrate our abilities and provide an early proof of our claims.

For example: a client is an offset printer seeking guidance to conform to ISO 12647. As a first step, we set up a printing condition that meets the standard's aim values. Once the press sheet matches a certified contract proof and the client is satisfied, we move to the next stage.

Next, we make a thorough analysis of the client's workflow — pinpointing parts of the process that can be optimised, manipulated or automated. We target increased efficiency, faster turnaround, greater colour control and accuracy, an overall quality boost, and maximum ROI.

The objective is not simply to make one job look right. It is to build a workflow that can be measured, repeated and improved — so that the team understands why the result is right and can reproduce it with confidence.
